Weird & Twisted Yarns...Just My Style!

I'd like to introduce you to a very special yarn shop...

WeirdAndTwisted's Shop Announcement
Weird&Twisted, two ambitious yarn designers, stand for quality Art Yarns. We produce unique artistic fiber creations - with a twist!

We love to create outstanding yarns. We get our inspiration from fairy tales, music, mythology and everyday life, but we aren't afraid of a tiny bit of trashy attitude! ;-)

Weird&Twisted stand for quality. For our high class yarn creations, we use but the best materials wherever possible. We combine fine, soft wool, silk and alpaca fibers with beautiful glass pearls, shiny cut glass crystals, semi precious stones and other quality supplies.

We update very frequently! So be sure to step in often and watch our selection of exquisit Art Yarns grow!
If you want to keep yourself posted about our latest yarns and our new, weird ideas and perhaps want to take a glimpse behind the curtain, drop in on our blog
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Their yarns have names like Punk Rock Barbie or The Ice Queen's Kiss, which is why I'm so honored that my Cranberry Bing Cherry Red Berry Handknit Scarf, Perfect Warm Gift for Australians
treasury was chosen for their latest treasury of deepest reds (sometimes complimented by blacks)!
Lighting a Fire, StartToFinish
Katie of Start to Finish, Supplies for Your Creations from "Start to Finish," is quite a leader with a lot of positive things going on! She not only has a rockin' supply shop, she also is team leader for the North Carolina Triangle team, loves to go kayaking AND has a very nice jewelry shop called...
Katie Carolina Designs:
Not enough, you say? Wait, there's more! She also features other Etsy artists in her blog AND in her latest treasury entitled You Light My FIRE.
Katie, I'm honored that you included my Orange to Burgundy Red Fire Handknit Scarf, thank you!
Here Comes the Bonny Sun!
Bonny of Bonny's Beaded Things is an expert jewelry maker and one of my fellow UtahEtsy team members. Together, we help promote our items on Etsy that are handmade in Utah. From fine art to baby quilts to jewelry to fashion, we're quite an eclectic group!
Bonny's just made us a sunny collection of warm, golden flowers to help raise awareness of our team to the rest of Etsy, "Your place to buy & sell all things handmade." Thank you, Bonny, for including my Marigold Yellow Flowered Problem-Solver Handmade Scarf (shown at bottom)!
The others photos in this blog are all Bonny's jewelry--I adore the large, chunky stones she uses and the quality is obvious! Bonny, thanks for shining your light on us--you're quite the ray of happiness. :)
Yes, Teresa of CozyCrochetCreations is talented, successful & versatile (just a few samples of her excellent work are shown in these pictures)!
What I like best about her is what a team player she is.
Teresa and I are members of EtsyFAST Team-Fiber Artist Street Team together, and she also belongs to:
New from TreasuriesROCK!
I recently discovered a fun, supportive flickr group of Etsy shop owners. It's called Treasuries ROCK! and it's all about putting together and celebrating Etsy treasuries, which are pages showing 12 images the treasury curator selects (it's hard work)!
Today, I wanted to highlight the three most recent collections of Treasuries ROCK! members (hint: each includes one of my fashion scarves!). I've included the shop banner and an item photograph from each of their Etsy shops (in no particular order):
Karen of giapet put together a Peaches & Cream assortment. I just love her Coral Shores Sea Shell Focal Bead, Fire-n-Sand Lampwork EGA SRA, shown below:
You can also find her in her:
And the lovely LeeLuBelle chose Lavender & Lime items to feature for her treasury. In keeping with the "Lots of things that start with "L" theme, I'm showing her Lola earrings below:
Check her out on flickr!
Last & certainly not least, treasury queen extraordinaire Kari of Maravillosa Jewelry Designs selected Top Picks from Flickr. One of my top picks from her store is her Sand Key (which would go well with giapet's glass shell!):
Kari can be found on flickr here
She actually has even more than that (like vintage patterns!); today I wanted to highlight her fun, fantastic Barbie clothes (in the pictures here)!
Anne's a real team player, too! We're both members of EtsyKnitters, a virtual knitting circle, and she made our team an It's Coming! IT'S COMING! treasury including my Violet Purple, Teal Aqua Turquoise, Blue-Green Handknit Boa Scarf to build excitement because....June 14 is WWKIPD! What's WWKIPD, you ask? Click here to find out! BLSoaps Really Shines!
The more I know Lindsay from Body Language Soaps (BLSoaps on Etsy), the more I like her!
She's warm, giving, friendly, real & very, very talented! Besides, we're practically neighbors, since we both live in Utah. ;)
Lindsay just honored me by giving me a huge nod in her You know you want it!!! treasury, featuring my Cranberry Bing Cherry Red Berry Handknit Scarf (the one in the picture below).
Lindsay, thank you. It's an honor to be your friend. :)
From Buttons to Bed Quilts to Blossoms
Kristy of Hailey's Bobbins offers everything in her online shop, from $550.00 handsewn bed quilts, to $5.00 button assortments.
My favorite thing in her lively & successful shop, though, is her newly introduced photography prints (like the lovely rose featured above).
This lady's got taste, right? :) That's why I'm especially proud to have my Orange to Red Fire Handknit Scarf (shown below) as part of her new Red HOT Summer treasury. Thank you so much, Kristy, I don't know how you find the time to be my Etsy pal along with doing great work and having a wonderful family, but I'm impressed! :)
You Can Put Your Stock in Stockton & Co!
So, what's Stephanie of Stockton & Co all about? From her online boutique:
"Sweet & sincere: handmade items for home, baby, and staying in touch. Check out our acorns and elephants, bunnies and bears!"
Stephanie is truly sweet & sincere, I can tell from the online messages she and I have exchanged on Etsy, "Your place to buy and sell all things handmade."
Proving just what a love she is, Stephanie just included my Marigold Yellow Flowered Problem-Solver Handmade Scarf (picture below) in her Summer Citrus collection of subtle, muted handmade items in the colors of lemon, lime & orange! Stephanie, I appreciate it so much, thank you!
Such a Lovely, Steampunk Lily...
Hey, wanna see some really cool stuff?
Lily of slvrlily offers, "Steampunk, dieselpunk, industrial and so much more!"
And, she's just featured me in her treasury, appropriately titled, "Brown paper packages, tied up with string," which fellow Julie Andrews fans will appreciate. ;)
Check it out through Wednesday, it's gorgeous and includes my Drunken Peaches on Champagne See Through Handknit Scarf Weighs Only Ounces (shown below, the rest of the fabulous items in this post are by Lily). Thanks, Lily!
